I’ve created a list of most common and widely used blogging tools here. So take a look at the list:
Wordpress: Wordpress is the most popular blog engine. It is free and open source. I’m using wordpress from the beginning of my blogging life.
Gimp: Gimp is a free and open source image manipulation program. Is is good alternative of Photoshop. I use it to resize and to take cool effect on images.
Favicon Generator: It is a free online tool to create favicon for your blog.
Filezilla: Filezilla is a free and open source FTP client. I use Filezilla to upload files to my host. I’m almost happy with it.
FireFTP: FireFTP is also a free and open source FTP client. But FireFTP is a FireFox add-on. It is suitable for those who love to upload directly from browser or who want to work without minimizing or closing browser.
Colorzilla: Colorzilla is a FireFox add-on. It offers advanced eyedropper, color picker, palette viewer and other colorful goodies for FireFox.
FeedBurner: Feedburner is a free program to burn your blog Feeds. You can offer your blog readers to subscribe your post via email. It will help you to return them and also help them to get updated with your blog.
Aweber: Although Feedburner offers free mail subscription service, but there are limitations of customization. If you want more customization you must switch to a paid service. Aweber is the best e-mail marketing software available on the net. While thinking about to a paid service, why not choose the best one?
Google Analytics: Google Analytics is a free visitor tracking service offered by Google. It will help to analysis your visitor trending and help to take a reasonable decision to increase your blog visitor.
Keyword Tool: It is the Keyword tracker and keyword ranking tool. This tools can be used to check search engines (Google, Yahoo and Bing) for search engine ranking and track those ranking.
